I have been in education for the last 28 years, 10 years in the classroom and 18 as an Educational Diagnostician. I am currently certified in the states of Louisiana and Texas. I am also Nationally certified, and I also was on the board for Nationally Certified Educational Diagnosticians.
A member of The Council For Exceptional Children, Learning Disabilities of America, and The International Dyslexia Association.
My goal is provide accurate assessment so that we can determine exactly why the student is not being successful in school.
I am able to provide Dyslexia screening or full Dyslexia assessment with recommendations to help the student improve reading outcomes.

Also partner with highly qualified assessment personnel to provide Louisiana Bulletin 1508 evaluations as part of an Independent Educational Evaluation.

Our qualified testers are highly qualified and experienced in their fields, with most holding advanced degrees and certifications. We also regularly evaluate our instructors to ensure they are providing the highest quality education to our students.
Assessments are conducted in a private room at the Scott, Louisiana Library located on Old Spanish Trail.
For a small additional fee, testing can be conducted in a public library in your town.
The Assessments are completed in at least 2 sessions depending on the needs of the individual. The first session is approximately 30 to 45 minutes, which will include parent and student interview, and a needs assessment.
The second session will be the actual assessment required for the individual. This session will take approximately 1 to 2 hours.
Cost in determined by the testing required for that individual.
A dyslexia screener is $75
Full dyslexia assessment is $500. 1//2 of this is due on the initial meeting, the other 1/2 due upon delivery of the assessment report.
